How to choose the best stay for Kumbh 2027
The best place to stay depends on how you plan to reach the ghats and how much quiet you want after the crowds. Check these points before you book.
- Getting to the ghats. On the main snan days, vehicles are usually stopped well before Har Ki Pauri, so plan to walk part of the way. Ask how the hotel's area is reached on those days.
- Parking. If you are driving, confirm the hotel has parking. Parking near the ghats is hard to find during the mela.
- Rest. After hours in the crowds, a calm room away from the busiest lanes makes a real difference.
